Full circle. Tower Records takes its name from the Tower theater building where founder Russ Solomon started selling used 78s from his father's drugstore, which was in this building.

He grew an empire. And in 1999 they made over a billion dollars from 192 stores worldwide. Five years later the were bankrupt and in 2006 closed forever.
