5 year old Syrian refugee Assad, like many refugee children, becomes hyper, as he has experienced many ordeals from the war to the long, difficult journey, at Vienna Hauptbahnhof Railroad Terminal. Indeed, many small refugees have PTSD. Their emotion are up and down, even if they look happy. Also showing very happy emotion in the extreme situation is human’s natural prevention of becoming severe PTSD. But some of the governments' exile examiners or officers might not understand such things. I have heard that if officers in Germany see the photos of happy, healthy refugee kids in Face Book or other social network, the government officers would use it as a pretext of the exile rejection. Hope it is just a rumour. But a NGOs worker reminded me not to post happy refugee photos at any social media. (Though I would do so if necessary, especially to advocate that showing happy emotion in the extreme situation is also part of PTSD.) #syrian #syrianboy #refuge #refugee_crisis #migrant #migrant_crisis #exile #exodus #vienna #austria #ptsd
