In case you were wondering who that dude was in my teaser photo the other day, it was none other than Mr. Kei Miura - aka @三浦慶 - aka the guy behind Rocket Bunny body kits. When we started the Ford Escort Mk2 RS build, I wanted it to be as wide as possible for performance reasons - and have it a bit more modern looking while retaining its classic lines. I love Rocket Bunny’s WRC-inspired car body and fender design, so Mr. Miura was the obvious choice when it came to picking someone to design the widebody kit. Here’s a shot of him laser scanning the car for his first rendering of the kit. So stoked on how amazingly well it came out. Thanks for the great work, Miura-san!
