If you're not familiar yet with the feeding frenzy that is buying art at a fair, I highly suggest getting this book to get grounded before you head into the fray. It's written by a Norwegian friend Erling Kagge - a great art collector and explorer - he's the first man to reach all three "poles" alone - North, South and the top of Mt. Everest.
Some of his tips include: 1.) beware of the "masterpiece" 2.) all major art was once reasonably priced 3.) a successful artist is never sold out for long. Anyone can collect - it's true! But do it smarter.
