The most exciting news! Wendi had a little baby ?❤️❤️❤️@dswt ・・・
We're very excited to welcome a wild-born baby to the #DSWT extended family. Our graduate orphan #Wendi has given birth to a beautiful little girl!

We rescued Wendi in 2002 when she was just a few days old. Her body was in a state of collapse, and it is truly a miracle that she survived. In the intervening years, Wendi flourished into a friendly and mischievous character. Now that she's graduated and started her own wild family, we're positively bursting with pride!
Wendi means #hope in Meru tribal dialect, and with the birth of this bundle of joy, we think that her name has never rung more true. Her story is the ultimate testament to the success of the Orphans' Project – saving orphaned elephants and then helping them establish a life back to the wild.
