A regram of one of the wonderful paper creations by @Rich McCor, for #lpkids (@Lonely Planet's brand for little adventurers). Pictured is the the impressive glass ceiling of the Maritime Museum in #Amsterdam. Amsterdam was originally a fishing village, taking its name from the river Amstel and the dam that was built in 1220 to avoid floods from the Zuiderzee entering the islands.
