Many of your favorite k-drama stars traveled to Jinju, South Gyyeongsang Province, today for the eighth Korea Drama Awards.
Kim Soo Hyun won the Grand Prize or Daesang for the second year in a row. He won in 2014 last year for his performance as an alien in "You Who Came from The Stars" and he was nominated again this year for his role as the TV production rookie in "Producer." Some netizens expressed negative comments saying that it was unfair that Kim won two years in a row and that the award slighted actors such as Yoo Dong Gun for his performance in "Whats' Up With This Family" or Ji Sung for his performance as a man with dissociative identity disorder in "Kill Me, Heal Me."
Nominees for the Top Excellence Actor award this year were Kim Soo Hyun, Cha Seung Won, Yoo Dong Gun, Ji Sung and Joo Won. JYJ's Kim Jae Joong won in 2014 for his performance in "Triangle."
