I recently set myself some pretty aggressive exercise and fitness goals, which include at the very minimum an hour of cardio a day... I always have loved secondary exercise; hiking, swimming etc but have never been a fan of organized exercise, so the fact I have stuck to my self set program for this long is a Christmas miracle in itself! I am definitely seeing results, but most importantly am feeling strong and didn't realize how much mental clarity, energy and focus was possible from exercise as well as sticking too the dedication of an investment in self..... The down side with the daily commitment? When you're hung over as arse (Me. Today) and you gotta drag yourself off the couch on a Sunday afternoon to run off the TimTam sundae and 17,000 drinks you had last night. Woof.
So as it's about to hit 4pm in NYC, it's about to hit 6am in Sydney - so if you've just woken up and are scrolling through insta contemplating getting up to get moving - do it. I'm going for a run, then #SoulCycle class, and if I can do it in my current state you can too. Get up. Let's do it. -SWx #SamanthaWills #MayVomitTimTams
