The pope (@newsva) began a long day by addressing a joint meeting of Congress and finished up 200 miles away by blessing @stpatrickscathedral in New York. In between, he had lunch with the homeless and greeted crowds on Fifth Avenue. On the itinerary for Friday: stops at the United Nations, the @911memorial, a school in East Harlem, @centralparknyc and @madisonsquaregarden.
