Visiting Cleveland, Tennessee with the @smartwool team to experience how New Zealand merino wool is turned into comfortable and durable cushions for our feet. Spools of yarn are fed into intricate Italian machines computer programmed to build in elasticity, patterns and support.
The people at the Renfro plant take a tremendous amount of pride in their work. Nice to see manufacturing alive and well.
Looking down the line it's exciting to think where these socks will end up. On an adventure to the Catskills or an expedition to Timbuktu?
