This week marks the 75th anniversary of the #BattleofBritain. The heroic men in this photograph were part of the WWII aircrew who fought in the three-month conflict, which took place in the skies above Britain.

This photograph was taken on 15th June 2015 during a tea for Battle of Britain veterans, hosted by The Prince of Wales, Patron of the Battle of Britain Fighter Association, and The Duchess of Cornwall.
Sadly, Flight Lieutenant Owen Burns (bottom left) passed away at the end of June, a few months before his 100th birthday.
On Sunday, The Prince of Wales will remember the sacrifice and victory of Owen and many others during a Service of Thanksgiving and Rededication at Westminster Abbey. #BoB75
