"I like to frown upon stadium shows as not really what rock n’ roll should be about. But then I hit a concert like #AC/DC’s tour-opening gig at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass. and sing a different tune. Maybe it was the warm summer night, or the energy you get when you put 60,000 fans of a classic band in the same place at the same time. Reminded me that a stadium show can be just as much fun as a club or arena gig if done right. AC/DC did it right, bringing the energy of a hungry young band to the big stage – and giving us photogs pretty free rein to capture it all. I wanted to get Brian and Angus in the same shot, but they were running all over the place so this was as close as I could get. Hail hail to the good times!"
