've always been a fan of small cars that can tear up the track. The MkI Escort may have never made it over the pond to the US, but that doesn't mean I can't drool over one. This '73 is owned by Paul Reene. It puts out a mild 250hp and 189 lb-ft, but with a weight of 1,700 pounds, that is more than enough. Reene says it will do 0-60 in 4.3-seconds which is on par with serious performance cars of today, but it will run away from them in the corners. It has 40mm of suspension travel, a super low center of gravity, completely adjustable suspension, a 6-link with a Watts Link in the back, and the biggest brakes from AP Racing that he could fit.
