24 instagram photographers from 14 countries, four continents, 72 photographs – this is Urban Encounters exhibition, part of Helsinki Design Week.

Instagram is much more than #selfie, #cutepuppy or #sexygirl. It is a photography community, that also produces ambitious visions in the art of photography.
The theme of the exhibition is Urban Encounters, and it reflects the photographers' different ways of looking and reading their surroundings, different styles and cultures.

The exhibition is a window to today's high quality mobile photography; all the photos have been taken and edited with smart phones only.
