#climbingmountshasta @12,500ft with @kathrynboyd_ in prep for @everestmovie Nothing easy about this but got the bug here. A few sleepless sub-zero nights. Amazing sunrises with the clouds below us. This was a fin we had to traverse with crevasses on either side, each about 80 to 100 feet deep. A great beginners ascent, but good to still feel the danger in it all: the intense beauty and the inevitable 'what if that happened?'. A great time. Huge respect for mountaineers everywhere
