For residents of Israel and Gaza, routine paths are full of reminders of last summer’s war. The photographer Tomas Munita captured thousands of images for the immersive series, “Walking in War’s Path.” Among those he photographed was 5-year-old Tukka Najjar, who is pictured standing where her home once was. About 250 members of Tukka’s extended family are crowded in 26 trailers across from their former homes in Kuhza’a, a border village in southern #Gaza. Between the trailers, men smoke shisha, children play and laundry hangs everywhere. The trailers are “like a fridge in the winter, a sauna in summer,” one resident lamented. [1/2]
