Join #MagnumPhotos @JacobAueSobolNew for an IG #takeover featuring his first journey from Moscow to Beijing in his project, “Arrivals and Departures.” Twin sister in Moscow. On my travels, I try to meet identical #twins. Why? I was born a twin. Everytime I meet other twins, I see and feel this symbiotic connection between two humans – but I also see the struggle to create their own individual personalities.

My twin brother and I were named A & B when we were born. In school they called us “The Twins.” We shared everything - first our dreams, our own language and later our secrets. We broke our symbiosis when we got older. I’m still trying to manage without him. Spending time with these twins in Moscow made me feel the same way.
