An alligator is weighed and measured at a weigh-station in #SpanishFort, Alabama. During alligator season every summer, Alabama's gator hunters go looking for the biggest American alligator they can find. The trick is generally not finding an alligator, but finding one worthy of the time and effort required to capture it. @joshhaner took this photo in Alabama while on #nytassignment for @nytimessports.
