"This detail is taken from one of my favorite sea-inspired paintings entitled 'On Deck' that Malcolm Morley painted in 1966 and is hanging at the Metropolitan Museum. He took the image from the brochure for a Dutch cruise line. He used a grid and painted upside down so as to be as accurate as possible." @simondepury #LaMerEditorinChic
