It was the kind of posting on #FaceBook that jolts you.....makes you think, this can't be true.

The word from #DougGiles was that #DavidBrehm had passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack. He and I were the same age, 54 years old, not that old. Not sure what the specifics of what happened with David are, that will come around, but the one thing it has done is to make the #HaysHighSchool #classof1979 reach out to each other and talk. Realizing that we need to say the things we want to say to all the people in our lives.

David was a very gentle guy. I had not seen him in years...but I'm sure he was same kid I new from Home. The above photo was taken when we were in the 7th or 8th grade, David is the one in the stocking cap, KenWatts, myself and DarrellPfiefer. We lost Darrell to early as well.

Kenny sent me a message today, "thanks for posting the photo...we look happy!" I think we were.
