@United was told by United agent in Montreal yesterday at 1pm that due to delay, we would have hotel/food vouchers once we made it stateside. Flight delayed 6.5 hours. 14 hours later and last connection missed, @united agents tell me that no vouchers will be issued for hotel/food because an "air traffic control" problem caused the delay, not @united, even though our flight was ADDITIONALLY delayed by an hour because @united agents allowed a person on the first flight w/o the right boarding ticket and had to MANUALLY hand-check everyone's boarding passes again. Called @united 1-800 number at 1am, was told to "tell my sad story" to the feedback site, by @united agent Mandell. And now attempting to make it home 10 hours after we had to find our own hotel and transportation, and @united gave me this nifty pin. Thanks, @united, for letting me share my "sad story."
