4-year-old Vasiliy and other children hold the jigsaw puzzles they have just received, in the ‘Katusha’ kindergarten in the city of Kramatorsk in #Ukraine’s Donetsk Region – one of the areas worst affected by the fighting. #UNICEF has helped procure school furniture, sports equipment, bed clothes and other items for the kindergarten, which was shelled twice within eight months in 2014 during the hostilities. Windows were blown out and walls and roofs were damaged as a result of the shelling, causing the kindergarten to close temporarily. The school has since been partially repaired.
