Even climbers dig mountain goats. These Spanish goats were the resident mega fauna around the alpine refugio in the Spanish National Park when Eddie Bauer climbers @carolinewaregeorge and @katiebirdlambert journeyed to Picos de Europa to crush the big walls of Spain’s iconic Iberic Eiger. They repeated an ascent of the Murciana 78 route on the same Naranjo de Bulnes West Face where Caroline’s mother Martine put up the first female ascent in 1971. But first they met up a few Spanish goats.
