@FransLanting This leopard was an embodiment of stealth as it eased through tall grass on a floodplain in northern Botswana. I panned my camera along with his strides to create a smooth impression of movement, but managed to keep his hunting eye in sharp focus.
This photograph is featured in my new exhibition, INTO AFRICA, which just opened at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C.
