The Intel Education Service Corps (IESC) team in Amman—comprised of Intel engineers based in the U.S. and India—is spending two weeks teaching young Jordanians how to wire up and program the #IntelGalileo computer, which is about the size of two credit cards. In this photo Arwa Tarawneh (left) and Suha Habashneh are both computer engineering graduates of Jordan’s Mutaa University. They’ve been traveling by bus 3 hours every day, each way, from their hometown of Karak, to learn how to program the Intel Galileo computer. They have found it difficult to find tech jobs, but that is not stopping them from continuing their passion. Suha would like to launch a software startup, and Arwa wants to teach other young people how to program small machines like the Galileo.
