"Wow … so BEAUTIFUL! So FURRY!” “That’s a coconut, Wally.” “Coconutsies! It’s ME! WALLY! … ‘Nutsies? … ‘NUTSIES!” There was no answer. “Her BAG!” said Wally. “She’s scared to be out of her BAG!” Paper bag in mouth, Wally rolled the coconut to his room and wrapped her in his holiday sweater. “For COMFORT!” Wally announced, as he placed her paper bag nearby. “That’s very considerate of you, Wally.” “You just rest. Wally watches for HAWKS!” At 3:00, Wally had to leave for art class. He packed up his collage materials and turned on his favorite Drake mix, announcing, “Music for ‘Nutsies! So she can warm up her vocal chords while Wally’s away creating ART!” Wally returned home eager to engage the coconut. But first, unable to contain himself (the music was still playing), he spent some time rapping in front of the mirror. Afterwards, Wally sprinted over to the coconut and used every conversation starter he knew: “I’m a BUNNY! … I’m Wally the BUNNY! … “It’s ME! WALLY! … Talk to ME!” But the coconut did not reply. “So SHY!” said Wally. He sat next to the coconut and patted her shell. … “Her EARS!” “What about them, Wally?” … “She HAS none!” (To be continued …) #wallystory
