She spoke at the United Nations headquarters this year and at COP27, where she discussed Black women’s experiences with reproductive health and the climate crisis. ⁣  ⁣ “My work focuses on gender-responsive climate policies. As countries build out their frameworks towards mitigation and adaptation, my goal is to assure they’re considering gender and intersectional experiences. ⁣  ⁣ We have the power of seeing a beautiful vision of what the world can be, and the audacity to demand it.
