Brain health, brain education, saving the brain, all things brain! I like to break the tenets of the foundation into two perspectives. One is the NOW. We are all aware what dementia, alzheimers, brain degenerative diseases are, and you might even know someone that has it. Actually my assumption is that we all know someone that has it cuz so many people get it or are going to get it. We don’t have a cure. But we are making headways towards that. Thats the NOW the fact that neuro degenerative diseases are here they dont have a cure and foundations like this one want to do something to change that. So end goal for the NOW is find cures and/or slow down the process of the disease to attack our brains. 2. The FUTURE! I always say Aoki Foundation lives between science fiction and science fact. This is where my passion and excitement comes from. The NOW is the heart beat and soul of Aoki Foundation. The FUTURE is the oxygen powering up the mitochondria to provide energy to make shit happen. This is where I am so lucky to sit in and listen and talk to scientists researchers and people on the front lines of science and technology on longevity, aging research, brain health, science fiction concepts that actually can be science fact. Every time i talk with them one big take away i get besides being blown away by the breakthroughs they are working on, is that they need dough. They need more awareness. That’s where Aoki Foundation comes in to play. 🧠 People ask questions about the foundation about why i started it or why we are raising money or why why why so here is a little for that. If you are a brain lover and u want to see some science fiction stuff happen in our lifetime then we have something in common. Maybe something you can help with either with funding or getting attention to these scientists that arent getting that. 🧠 We raised over $100k this night having a good laugh playing poker and hanging with old friends and new.
